And of course, plenty of hiking and camping. If you live in Uptown Sedona, you're just 26 miles from Flagstaff where you can, among other things, downhill sky in the Winter months. Imagine that!

I'm an Uptown Sedona resident myself, and have lived in 2 different neighborhoods in Uptown for about 10 years. Some buyers looking at Sedona for the first time could overlook Uptown due to congestion and parking on the 89A strip, but once you get a few blocks off the main tourism area - you'll find the quietest neighborhoods with some of the best views imaginable. It's the original part of town, loads of character (twisty roads as opposed to a master planned grid layout) and most homes are a stones throw from National Forest trails.
